WHEN and WHY should i pay more for my SEO?
Video transcript below
Don’t expect to pay for the slab and the frame of a new house build, and then the rest of the house will magically build itself, or your builder will work for free while he sleeps on the street so you could build your dream home. You want spend less than two thousand a month with your SEO company, that’s fine, but don’t expect your agency to rank your five hundred product e-commerce store to infinity or get twenty of your service pages on top of Google. It doesn’t work like that!
When we take on a client with a small budget, we focus on a small fraction of their website. We build results towards those services or product pages. Then once we show our good results to our customers, then we can scale.
I’ll give you a simple and clear example. We’ve taken on quite a few ecommerce SEO marketing customers on Shopify and WooCommerce. A lot of these guys already have a decent number of products with many category pages. But of course, targeting all these would cost a minimum of three thousand five hundred a month. So, we always target a small handful of product categories and charge a less amount. There have, have been a few customers that were doing approximately twenty thousand dollars a month in organic sales, which are sales coming from non-paid listings, SEO. In three to four months, we have increased their revenue from twenty thousand dollars to sixty thousand dollars a month, and each month from then on, it’s been give or take a bit more, a bit less, as we are maintaining those pages and results. For someone paying less than two grand a month, this is amazing. But after a few months now, those results are sitting at a steady sixty grand, the client asks, “What’s the next steps? How can we improve?” This is the time you should start to invest more in your so we can target every single part of your website, even the products that you don’t care about. With each product and page targeted, the value is shared around your website as a whole, building a strong foundation and pushing everything up together. It’s like building a house. You start with the undergrounds, the slab, and the frame. Once that is secure, you build the rest of the house. Same thing as your business. build up on the core product and service pages, and once that’s stable and secure, you can complete the rest.
Don’t expect to be spending one to two grand a month and constantly see improvements every single quarter. There will be a time where those results will plateau as you’re dominating those areas. This is a time where you need dominate the rest of the products and services you are offering. Don’t expect your SEO company to do more than triple amount of work and not get paid for it.
So, if your business is doing okay and you want to take things to the next level, speak to us today. Feel free to check our website for proven results in our case study section. Let’s make you more money as soon as possible.

Questions about SEO budgets and scaling
Why canβt a small SEO budget cover my entire website?
SEO is like building a house. You cannot pay for the slab and frame and expect the rest of the house to build itself without additional investment.
If you have a 500-product e-commerce store or 20 different service pages, a smaller budget (e.g., under $2,000/month) covers focused work on a small, high priority fraction of your website. Expecting a full site ranking overhaul on a minimal budget requires the agency to work for free, which simply isn’t realistic or sustainable.
How do you approach clients who start with a smaller budget?
We focus on a phased growth strategy:
- Phase 1: Undergrounds, Slab & Frame. We target a small handful of core product categories or key service pages.
- Phase 2: Prove ROI. We focus our resources to drive initial rankings, traffic, and revenue growth on those selected pages.
- Phase 3: Scale & Expand. Once your core pages are dominating and generating consistent revenue, we reinvest to expand coverage across the rest of your site.
What kind of results can I expect on a lower budget campaign?
While scope is targeted, the impact can be significant. For example, weβve taken e-commerce clients starting at under $2,000 a month that are generating $20,000 a month in organic revenue which we then helped them achieve $60,000 a month within 3 to 4 months by strictly optimising and building authority for a select group of product categories.
Why have my SEO results plateaued after initial growth?
Plateaus are a natural part of a targeted campaign. When you dominate the specific keywords and categories targeted in your initial budget, growth on those specific pages reaches a steady, high performing baseline.
To break through a plateau, you need to expand your target scope to cover the rest of your products, services, or category pages. Reaching the next level requires increasing your investment so we can target additional areas of your site.
What happens when I increase my SEO budget?
When you step up your campaign (e.g., moving to $3,500 + per month), we begin targeting every section of your business, including secondary products and broader categories or service pages
As more pages gain authority and rank, domain authority is shared across your entire website. This creates a rising tide that pushes up your overall site visibility, building an unbeatable foundation for long-term dominance.
When is the right time to increase my SEO investment?
The best time to increase your budget is once your initial targeted campaign is stable, secure, and delivering a steady return on investment. If your core pages are performing well and generating profit, reinvesting that revenue allows us to replicate that success across the rest of your site.
